DAY 1 – Dublin Airport to Galway.▲
Céad Míle Fáilte (a hundred thousand welcomes!) – Meet your driver guide on arrival at Dublin Airport and begin your adventure of the “land of 40 shades of green”.
Discover the midlands of Ireland and Clonmacnoise before arriving into Galway City for the next 2 nights. With a mix of bohemian cool and traditional culture, this western city on the edge of the Atlantic has a well-deserved reputation as one of Ireland’s most enjoyable destinations.
DAY 2 – Connemara Tour▲
Explore the wild and rugged region of Connemara with a visit to the majestic Kylemore Abbey and Gardens and a relaxing cruise on Killary Harbour.
Explore Galway City for the rest of the evening. Once a small fishing village, Galway grew in strength in the 13th century to become a prosperous walled town ruled by 14 merchant families, known as the Tribes of Galway.
DAY 3 – Galway to Cork City▲
Breathe in the essence of the Wild Atlantic Way today as you travel southwards through County Clare, a landscape laced with dry-stone walls and a sprinkle of thatched cottages. You will discover the Emerald Isle is much more than 40 shades of green, after a photo stop on the vast, moon-like Burren – a rocky limestone paradise in the West of Ireland.
Take a stroll along the blustery clifftops of the majestic Cliffs of Moher with the crashing waves below and eight dramatic headlands rolling off into the distance. A sharp slap of Atlantic air in the face will make you feel truly alive and energized!
Visit the 15th century Bunratty Castle and stroll through the Bunratty Folk Park before continuing to Cork City, sitting proudly on an island in the middle of the River Lee. After dinner at your hotel relax or discover the city at your leisure.
DAY 4 – Blarney & Midleton▲
Outside of Cork City uncover another side of Ireland’s history within the medieval stronghold of Blarney Castle, with its dark dungeons, mystical gardens, and the famous Blarney Stone.
Savour the amazing aromas at the Jameson Distillery Midleton, home to the largest Copper Pot Still in the world, and enjoy being surrounded by 1,000 casks of mature whiskey in the maturation warehouse. Continue your own exploration of the pubs of Cork or relax back at the hotel.
DAY 5 – Cork to Dublin▲
This morning after breakfast visit the Rock of Cashel in the Golden Vale in County Tipperary.
Continue to Dublin City to visit the Guinness Storehouse®, located in the heart of the Guinness Brewery at St James’s Gate.
Have dinner at your hotel before exploring the city at your own leisure.
DAY 6 – Dublin City▲
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before visiting the GPO Museum, an immersive and interactive experience telling the story of the 1916 Easter Rising and modern Irish history.
At the EPIC Museum hear stories of Irish emigrants who became scientists, politicians, poets, artists and even outlaws all over the world.
After some free time in the city get ready to experience an enchanting evening of Irish folklore, song, dance and music, while enjoying a traditional Irish dinner at a traditional Irish Night in a local venue.
DAY 7 – Depart Dublin Airport▲
This morning, a private driver will meet you in the hotel lobby and transfer you to Dublin Airport for your departure flight.
