Day 1: Arrive in Belfast Airport and explore Belfast city▲
Arrive into Belfast Airport where you will be met by your private chauffeur driver and transferred to your luxury hotel in Belfast City.
Enjoy your day at leisure in Belfast City. Use the Hop-on/Hop-off Belfast City tour to see the famous sights. Historically significant and ever-changing, the capital of Northern Ireland offers an insight into a troubled past and the people’s commitment to peace in a modern city. Belfast City is buzzing like never before, with a legendary music scene, great pubs and a wealth of cultural events.
Hotel Stay: Europa Hotel, Belfast City. (Or similar) (B&B Basis).
Day 2: Titanic Quarter and Belfast Murals▲
Continue your discovery of Belfast City today with the Hop-on/Hop-off city tour and a visit to the Titanic Centre. The visitor experience tells the story of the Titanic from her conception in Belfast, through her construction and launch to her famous maiden voyage and tragic end.
We recommend taking a stroll through the Botanic Gardens. The impressive Victorian park is the popular meeting place for locals, university students and tourists. See the Belfast Murals, where the tradition of the political murals is more than 100 years old and the colorful work of the wall artists from the romantic to the surreal is astonishing.
Hotel Stay: Europa Hotel, Belfast City. (Or similar) (B&B Basis).
Day 3: Giants Causeway, Antrim Coast & Derry City.▲
This morning you will be met by your private driver-guide – depart Belfast City and travel north along the scenic Antrim Coastline to Derry City. The Causeway Coastal Route, is a 120 mile scenic drive which has been described as ‘one of the world’s great road journeys’.
Breath in the fresh air and stand in awe at one of Ireland’s most iconic natural sites as you visit the stunning Giant’s Causeway. The Giants Causeway consists of basalt columns formed volcanic activity millions of years ago and resembles a cobbled road leading into the sea. Have a photo stop at Dunluce Castle.
In the afternoon, take a walk around the walled city of Derry. Learn about Derry City’s 17th century walls, the conflict of its troubled past and the city’s cultural revival. Check into your centrally located hotel in Derry City.
Hotel Stay: Bishop’s Gate Hotel, Derry City. (Or similar) (B&B Basis)
Day 4: Glenveagh National Park and Donegal▲
Depart Derry and travel south to County Donegal. We recommend visiting Glenveagh National Park along the way. Nestled deep in the national park is Glenveagh Castle, which offers guided tours and a fascinating insight into life in a 19th century luxurious castle.
Continue south to Harvey’s Point Hotel, where you will overnight for the next two nights. Harvey’s Point is a wonderful scenic spot located just outside Donegal town and boasts stunning views of the Bluestack mountains and Lough Eske.
Hotel Stay: Harvey’s Point, County Donegal. (Or similar) (B&B Basis).
Day 5: Slieve League Cliffs and Donegal Scenic Drive▲
Enjoy the full day touring around Donegal. Don’t miss Slieve League Cliffs, situated on the Atlantic coast. Renowned as the highest marine cliffs in Europe, they rise almost 2000ft (598m) from the Atlantic.
Perhaps take the coastal road drive to Glencolmcille, an Atlantic outpost dating back 5,000 years. It is said that St. Columba established a monastery there in the 6th century.
Hotel Stay: Harvey’s Point, County Donegal. (Or similar) (B&B Basis).
